The Mayor of Washington DC Muriel Bowser discussed on Sunday the situation with monkeypox in the city, saying that it needs more vaccines at the moment, Qazet.az reports according to CBC News.
The city has already gotten 8,000 doses, but ''we estimate that we need about 100,000 doses to address the current target population,'' she explained to CBC, adding that they already have a ''robust'' testing system based on the model that was used for COVID-19. Bowser also invited everybody to get a vaccine once it becomes available.
