"We have very good relations with Azerbaijan" - President of Georgia 

Members of the government were supposed to personally meet in Brussels with high-ranking officials

"We have very good relations with Azerbaijan," Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said.

Qazet.az reports that noting the recent visit to Baku by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the head of state criticized the Georgian government for missing the opportunity to meet with her: “We could ask the European Commission President to come to Georgia for half an hour to have a conversation.”

According to her, members of the government were supposed to personally meet in Brussels with high-ranking officials and discuss 12 conditions that Georgia must fulfill to receive the status of a candidate for EU membership: 

“You need to work in this way. However, we prefer to blame each other, and each of us considers himself right.”
