According to Qazet.az reports, this was said by the head of the Communication Department of the Presidential Administration of Turkey, Fakhreddin Altun, during his speech in video format at the forum held in Bursa on "Turkish world new generation media activities".
"New electronic media and information technologies accelerated our relations, but also brought out disinformation and slander campaigns. It was the Turkish world that suffered the most," F. Altun emphasized.
Emphasizing the importance of expanding joint activities of the Turkic world in order to combat these threats, Fakhreddin Altun said that for this purpose, the meeting of the Minister responsible for the media activities of the Organization of Turkish States (TDT) in Istanbul in May of this year and the relevant media leaders also served this purpose, and today's event also served this purpose.
