Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project the employees of Lankaran State University visited Belgium

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project called "Establishment of the Rectors' Conference in Azerbaijan" implemented under the coordination of Baku Business University and the financial support of the European Commission, the next visit was organized to the EFMD Global institution located in Belgium. The purpose of the event, which covers the dates of December 12-17, is to strengthen the potential in the internationalization of higher education, Qazet.az reports.

About 50 delegations from 17 higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan, which are members of the project consortium of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan - rectors, vice-rectors and other responsible persons, as well as the Royal University of Technology of Sweden, the University of Alicante in Spain, the Spanish Conference of Rectors, as foreign partners. Representatives of the European International Education Association, the Directorate General for Research and Innovation of the European Union, the German Academic Exchange Service / DAAD are participating. During the visit, seminars and presentations will be held by EFMD Global and other European partners on very important topics such as quality assurance and internationalization, internationalization of research and teaching, development of internationalization strategies, international projects, German Academic Exchange Service. It is also planned to hold a business meeting of the participants of the event with the European Culture, Education and Audiovisual Agency of the European Commission on Erasmus plus projects.
It should be noted that LSU is represented at this event by the vice-rector for teaching organization and training technologies associate professor Idrak Askerov and the employee of the international cooperation department Rasima Akhundzade.
