Women to be supported in business projects in Karabakh and East Zangazur
To date, 42 of the 980 applications received by SMBDA to set up businesses in the liberated areas belong to women entrepreneurs
"Measures are underway to support women entrepreneurs," Chairman of the Management Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency Orkhan Mammadov said at a conference on "The role of women's entrepreneurship in the economic development of Karabakh and East Zangazur "held by the New Azerbaijan Party and the Parliamentary Committee for Family, Women, and Children, Qazet.az reports.
He said that SMBDA is ready to support women entrepreneurs in Karabakh and East Zangazur: “It is important to study the activities of women entrepreneurs in two economic regions. There are also women entrepreneurs. among those interested in starting a business in the liberated areas.
To date, 42 of the 980 applications received by SMBDA to set up businesses in the liberated areas belong to women entrepreneurs. We consider the role of women entrepreneurs crucial for the economic and social development of Karabakh and East Zangazur. SMBDA will provide appropriate support for women's participation in business projects in the regions, including Karabakh and East Zangazur.
