Workers in contact with aircraft crew infected with COVID-19 not to be tested

In accordance with the amendment, if COVID-19 is confirmed in a worker in the aircraft crew through the laboratory, employees in close contact with him must be isolated at home

The Cabinet of Ministers has made an amendment to the "Rules for the organization of flights and air passenger transportation in Azerbaijan during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19)”, Qazet.az reports,

In accordance with the amendment, if COVID-19 is confirmed in a worker in the aircraft crew through the laboratory, employees in close contact with him must be isolated at home.

Until now, if an employee had been tested for COVID-19 by a laboratory, employees in close contact with him had to be tested and isolated at home until the results were known.

The Decision comes into force from January 24, 2022.
