Works done on water supply of Azerbaijan's Aghdam city announced

Drilling of a new subartesian well has started in Khidirli village of Aghdam region

A meeting of the Working Group set up to prepare a technical-economic study and preliminary design documents for the establishment of drinking water supply, waste, and rainwater management systems in the liberated from occupation city of Aghdam has been held, Qazet.az reports citing the Coordination Headquarters established for the settlement of issues in the liberated territories in a centralized manner.

Information has been provided on urgent work done to restore the drinking water supply in the Aghdam region. It has been noted that after the liberation of the Aghdam region from occupation, urgent work was carried out to provide objects, which will be settled, with drinking water. As part of the project to build a Monitoring Center in the Aghdam region, drinking and wastewater lines were laid, a reservoir, a pumping station, infiltration and septic facilities were built. Drilling of a new subartesian well has started in Khidirli village of Aghdam region. Main and distribution water lines have been built from the well area.
