Zelensky: "There are European countries that do not want to see Ukraine in NATO"

"Ukraine has been moving towards NATO membership for a long time, but there is still no progress in the Euro-Atlantic integration," Volodymyr Zelensky said

"It is not a philosophical issue, but there are specific reasons behind it. Russia as well as some members of the alliance do not want Ukraine in NATO. It is an open secret," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a visit to Mariupol city, Donetsk region, Qazet.az informs.

"Ukraine has been moving towards NATO membership for a long time, but there is still no progress in the Euro-Atlantic integration," he said.

The Ukrainian president underscored that Russia links the military build-up on the border to NATO, and some European countries are playing with them in this matter.
