Azerbaijan's foreign exchange reserves are 8 times more than the direct state debt.

Qazet.az reports that this was stated by MP Ziyad Samadzade at the meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.

"The annual reduction of the state debt is the result of a consistent policy. The reduction of the debt to gross domestic product (GDP) ratio to 10% is due to the principles of the country's president," he said.
