Ziyafat Askerov: "The multi-party system has not been established in the country yet"

"Although there are more than 50 multi-party parties in the country today, the multi-party system has not yet been established. The goal is to create such conditions for political parties."

Qazet.az reports that Ziyafat Asgarov, chairman of the Defense, Security and Anti-Corruption Committee of the Milli Majlis, said this in his speech during the discussion of the new version of the draft law "On Political Parties".

He noted that the government and the state of Azerbaijan are interested in increasing the role of political parties in this matter.
